tattoo bra

I'd like to see you either go with a Disney theme, or else pink ribbons. Your choice.
how 'bout just a banner which reads "suck it, cancer!" or "cancer is my bitch!"
LOL.

My mom got an atomic symbol on her back. The lady doing the tattoo asked her if it hurt, which was funny; her entire back is numb from the nerve damage of the cancer surgeries.

You could get a raised middle finger on each side and flash everyone you see. That'd be gratifying, on some level.
i got a pretty tattoo on my ankle bone -- about 8 years ago. AFTER the tattooing process began, the artist mentioned "yeah, the ankle is one of the most painful places to get it done." i didn't think it was too bad. however, i had recently been released from hospital where i had passed a kidney stone, the worst pain of my entire life (including my recent cancer treatments). so, relative to a kidney stone, the tattoo seemed pretty mild. from what I've been told. this TRAM procedure will not be pleasant. so if i go for a tattoo bra, again, it will all be relative.
Kidney stones are horrible. I've had them too. The last time I was in for them, weirdest thing, I didn't feel any pain but I couldn't stop throwing up. I threw up all over the ER, on the way to my room, all over my room and all over my nurse. They said that sometimes with stones the pain gets so bad that your body bypasses the whole pain-perception thing and goes into shock, which is where all of the hurling comes in. I threw up for an entire week trying to pass the stone and get out of surgery...no dice.

Incidentally, kidney-cramping post surgery is pretty bad too.

You're right, a tattoo was probably a cakewalk compared to having a stone.

My mom said the removal of the drainage tubes post-mastectomy is pretty bad too, was it for you?
